I was driving through Woolston along Victoria Road. Turned left by the Inn on the corner near the old Thornycrofts site and went up past ST Marks school towards Weston estate. Just as I was passing the under the trees near the sales garage on the left this 'thing' came burning up my rear bumper doing least 50 in a square coffin box. The driver was despising me doing 30 so they continued to sit up my backside which was about as frightening as being chased by an insect. I turned left up Weston Lane and this 'Thing' started to look for gaps to overtake so I kept at 30. As I was approaching Kingsclere avenue to turn right the Doplo was burning up my rear bumper closer then ever before so I rammed on the brakes on top of the Kingsclere/Weston Lane junction hoping they would back off or give me a nice whiplash claim but the driver missed me. The driver eventually turned right and went down towards Weston flats and disappeared. Good!

I am a new driver dealing with Motorways for the first time since passing in January. Limit was 50mph all lanes of M42 Southbound (heading for Shirley): Truck getting closer and closer which I could see in my rear view mirror. I thought, "I'm doing the limit, who do you think you are?" After what seemed like longer than it was, he got into the middle lane, and whilst passing began blarring on the horn and flashing lights at me, then moved in front. Mindless... What a prick!!

As an advanced driver, I was in the correct gear and able to make progress into the 60 zone leaving this slagwagon well begind. She eventually caught up with me when the speed limit dropped and persisted in her foolhardy behaviour.

The driver then undertook, dangerously close to a car in the middle lane and inserted itself in the gap I was leaving between me and the car in front, The gap was about 30 ft and I had to anchor on.

I was entering the M60 at junction 13 anti clockwise. In order to stay on M60 you have to move over 2 lanes in a fairly short distance, maybe half a mile tops. So I'm coming up the sliproad, quickly got my speed up to nearly 70. Quick check in the side mirror then over my shoulder, nothing in the second lane so I signal & move over. In the 2 seconds that took this ass clown came from nowhere to sit right on my bumper. He stayed there until I was able to move over into lane 3, of course I got the dirty look like I was the nob doing 100 coming up to the M62/M602 turnoff. Stupid pillock, hope you die soon!

Unmarked white van with three men in work clothes. I was on A3 in overtaking lane, taking over slower traffic, doing the speed limit. This guy drives right up my back end and it was obviously deliberate as they were all laughing. I flashed my hazards to tell him he was way too close but he only flashed his headlights in return and drove even closer. Terrifying as I had nowhere to go at the time and he was forcing me to speed up. Eventually managed to overtake slower traffic and pulled into inside lane. As he passed me, the inside passenger was making al sex' gestures at me - got a very dirty look in return I can tell you. I then saw him do the same to another car in front for quite a distance.

I had an experience on the A31 today near Guildford at 8.30 – I was in the outside lane – traffic was flowing for once at about 50 mph but very busy in both lanes and I had an idiotin a fiesta up my exhaust pipe. Not only was he that close he was ON THE PHONE and carried an L PLATE. They were a couple of young people in the vehicle. Obviously on the A13 it is a bit stop/start and when I had to break, I am sure he touched my vehicle although there is no sign of damage when I got to work. He then did the w.......r sign at me and shot into the inside lane to try and get in front of the stream of cars?? As I levelled beside him in the resulting queue, he was laughing and waving. This guy needs stopping before he kills someone.

DRIVING TOO CLOSE DRIVING DANGEROUSLY "I DRIVE A LEXUS IS200 GET OUT OF MY WAY SYNDROME" - Does the I.S. stand for "I`m Stupid"...I think it must... This "charming" lady driver was driving in agressive manner on the M53 heading south near the Eastham junction, where the road narrows from 3 lanes to 2. She steamed up behind my vehicle and to my ashtonishment was attempting to overtake my vehicle as I indicated to move from lane 3 into lane 2 as the motorway narrowed - "what a crazy move I thought" !! especially as there was insufficient room between my vehicle and the car in front of me - It certainly wasn`t a safe manoeuvre by any means - and especially as the road was wet. - This particular section of the M53 is a notorious section where the POLICE have attended many accidents in the recent past - purely because of idiot motorists who "cut in" from the outside lane when it is not safe to do so, causing others to brake sharpley. - In my mirror pointed to my temple and signalled to her that I thought she was "El loco" - a crazy driver and she should think about how stupid she was. She inevitably responded with a predictable and unimaginative gesture - Not very ladylike at all!! The sheer audacity of her gesture baffled me totally. I pulled over into lane 1 a little further along the motorway and as she passed she once again gestured towards me - this time she bizarrely flicked at her chin !!!!! She definately is crazy I thought or perhaps she just needed a shave or was she doing a Bruce Forsyth impression, I dont know ! Ha Ha!! She also wore glasses I noticed perhaps she needs her eyes testing..she was definately making a right spectacle of herself Ha Ha !! I continued my journey along the M53 at a safe distance from the "Loopy Lexus Driver" She however continued to drive too close to the cars in front of her along the M53 and also along the M56 for the next 20 miles or so. She truly was a moronic dangerous driver and unfortunatly appears to fall into the "accident waiting to happen" category. Generally female drivers are regarded as safe drivers - however this woman is alas a danger to herself and other motorists. They say that Motorways are statistically the safest roads to drive on however they soon wont be if total imbeciles like this lady are left to continue with their poor driving ability- unless of course her next accident is her last!!!!

I too was tortured by one of these 'hard-nut' butch aggressive types driving a white van (owned by 'Adenstar Construction Group'). He tailgated me far too close at the 60MPH speed limit (so close I could not read the numberplate) -- and as soon as he overtook me (on a blind bend, with oncoming traffic, well in excess of the limit), he then proceeded to pull in my safety gap and tailgate the person that was originally in front of me whilst constantly weaving about across the white line in silly attempts to get past. When he finally got on the A3, he then tailgated a third person only a few feet from their bumper at 70MPH. Worryingly, he had at least 2 other passengers in the van too who must have been filling their underwear when they saw they were going to have a head-on collision! But in classic van-driver style, they only care about their own lives, and not those of anyone else..!

Driving home as usual, up the M3 from junction 9 to junction 3, I was followed most of the way by a navy blue BMW, driven by a brown haired female, most likely in her mid-30's. She would continuously drive right up behind me, so close that I'd be unable to see her headlights, while traveling at 70-80mph. The motorway was free flowing for the majority of the way, but from junction 5 onwards, the traffic slowed to 50-60mph. I was constantly having to tap on my brakes to urge her to keep her distance. At one point, a car pulled into the outside lane a few cars ahead, causing the traffic to slow to just over 40mph, nearly causing the BMW to go into the back of me.

Blonde female, mid 40's, driving about an inch behind my car for over 4 miles. Eventually had to signal and pull over to let her pass as was becoming increasingly dangerous. Complete lack of awareness for other drivers, swerved passed me narrowly missing hitting my car. She also passed a cyclist too late, narrowly missing hitting the cyclist. Remained behind driver for some time, driver day-dreaming, looking out of window and driving too close to another car in front. Continously slamming on brakes as she was too close to cars in front, near collision with another vehicle in Guildford town centre. She ended journey at Guildford train station car park.

Travelling at 30mph in 30mph zone, driver of van behind thinks this is too slow. So, tailgates me at 2 metres, even when I pick up speed to 40, after zone. I slow, trying to encourage him to back off, to no avial. I stop - he overtakes and then slows right down in return - even on a main road with a queue forming behind. Does this for a mile or so, and then thinks he has done enough, so speeds off above the limit. So clever.

In very dense traffic driver of Renault Clio drove up so close behind me I couldn't even see his lights. He continued to do this for a few minutes, although there was no where for him or me to go. Following this I flashed my rear fog light to try to get him to back off but he responded by driving for the next 5 minutes with his main beam lights on trying to dazzle me, as he was so close his lights were blocked by the rear of my car so he only dazzled the northbound traffic. After this there was then an opportunity for me to move over so he could pass me, in doing so he pulled alongside, turned on his interior lights and gesticulated before driving on to repeat the same to the driver in front he continued to do this until the traffic cleared nearing Winchester.

My passenger wing mirror was hit for the second time, yesterday while my 9yr old son was still in the passenger side of the car, it really scared him! I am thinking of putting cctv camera's up at the front of my property and will report ANYONE who hits my car again! Just after this incident another idiot overtook me dangerously because he was speeding down the road, impatient sod. (I was doing 30mph - the speed limit!)
