Two heavy lorries belonging to J & G Black Haulage Contractors of Bathgate tailgated my partner and me on this tricky single carriageway road where the HGV limit is 40 mph. We were driving up to the regular speed limit of 60mph. My partner felt so intimidated that she pulled into a layby and let them both past, they then quickly vanished ahead of us.

I was positioned over to the right along Thomas Lewis Way passing St Deny's railway station. The traffic was busy. As I was intending to turn right to go towards Lodge road, An arrogant lorry driver undertook me on the left and forceably bullied me onto the wrong side of the A335. He tried to ram me up against the islands in a fit pf aggression. He snuck up quietly on the left and was prepared to ram me out of the way. It was lucky I looked in my left door mirror and saw him bullcharging at me. I had to pull onto the wrong side of the road just to move out of his way and slam on the anchors to stop. After he went past he gestulated a hammering sign so I cut in behind him, got his reg number and logistics company name. I will be filing a complaint with your company and speaking to your manager/superior about your so called "professional" driving later on chum(p).

Saw a lot of cars stuck behind this lorry doing 40 up the hill which is where there is usually a speed camera van so no surprise.
I decided to overtake because his driving seemed a bit odd for my liking and just as I come to pull out and over take he managed to slam his lorry into the curb bring up a fair bit of dust and rubbish from the verge. My only guess is he was another driver not paying attention or on the phone.
I am quite glad I got past him but everyone else seemed to want to stay behind. Fair play!

The bald bald bloke in a blue T-shirt driving the truck which had the name "PAT BATES" on the front of it tail gated me for 2.5 miles, flashing me even though I was doing just over the legal limit of 50mph with cars in the inside lane. Then he tried undertaking me and when he couldn't get past the cars in that lane he tail gated me again. All the time he was gesticulating. I accelarted away as my wife and daughter, who he must have seen, were getting really upset. Havimng past the traffic I slowed down for the slip road thinking he would carry on to the motorway as he was now in the outside lane with nothing behind me in the inside lane. He didn't... He drew up alongside me as I pulled off, and then he forced his truck into a gap that I would not have got a Smart car in, forcing me to brake sharply in an attempt to bring me to a halt. By this time my daughter was in tears, I wanted to get out and have a word with him in a martial art kind of way, but my wife insisted I left it. I drove round him and off the dual carriageway.
I do hope I see "Master Bates" at the gym some time. Soon.
Only problem, is I doubt faecal cerebellum reads this type of website, if he can read at all...

Encountered this Lorry as I was on Roundabout and he decided to join roundabout and cut me off, had to brake, he did exactly the same at the next roundabout. Then on approach to motorway went slow for 3 miles so noone could get past. - needs a refresher driving course.

I was driving west on the M4 just before junction 16 doing 63 mph on the inside lane when a lorry drew up level with me and started to move over into the lane I was in. I thought he maybe couldn't see me so I flashed my lights and braked so he could move in. I then overtook him as I felt unsafe near him. As I did so he made an obscene gesture hooted and flashed his lights. At that moment another lorry pulled out in front of me for no apparent reason. I pulled out to overtake it and he flashed his lights and hooted aggressively. Somewhat unnerved I returned to the inside lane. The two lorries then pulled up beside me and forced me onto the hard shoulder. As the light was poor and I was on my own I was unable to get their numbers.

My wife was travelling anti-clockwise on the M25 today (approx 1410 hrs) between jnct 7 and 6 and witnessed two lorries (1 British lorry, 1 Foreign plate) clearly suffering from road rage as they were erratically overtaking one another, cutting each other up and ensuring that all those behind backed-off.
My wife (who had our 3yr old daughter and 2yr old niece in the back) was shaking and afraid for her safety.
Does anyone know who to contact in the police to trace these idiots via the CCTV footage? Grateful for any help provided.

Driving north on the M5 near cardiff turnoff M50. We were doing 60 in the inside lane when a lorry displaying a SUPERFREIGHT EXPRESS LOGISTICS logocame right up our back end honking his horn. There are another two lanes on the M5 so I dont know why he didnt just overtake us. He followed us at a distance of no more than 4 feet for about a mile honking his horn, intimidating us and scaring the life out of me. Eventually he overtook us with a last honk of his horn.

Ridiculous Lorry driver. 60MPH road. Single carriageway. Lane gain for about 100m. This lorry comes hurtling from about another 60m behind me. I'm thinking there's no chance he'll make it before the road goes back to one lane. Sure enough, the road got back to one lane. With the additional one now being fazed out by white hazard markings until the road itelf becomes narrower again. This lorry, breaking the speed limit, pushing me onto the kerb should not be on the road!

An HGV from felixstowe heading north on A22 I guess looking for somewhere, but not being aware of any vehicle around him. Drove eratically stopping(completely) to look for a turning, then speeding off (as best an HGV can) rather than letting the very long and frustrated queue behind him go past. Eventually turned off into a small village to cause further mayhem across the path of an oncoming car!! I know we all struggle to find places sometimes, but hopefully most of us, including HGV drivers, are normally more aware and courteous to those around them.

As I emerged from a slip road, after having given approx 5-10 seconds of indication that I was about to do so, I joined the inside lane of the dual carriageway and the above vehicle, despite being able to pull over into the next lane, chose to come up to the rear of my vehicle and tailgate me for approximately half a mile. The distance between our vehicles was less than had we been in a stationary line of traffic, approximately 12-18 inches.

An articulated 40foot "Royal Mail" lorry driving on the M8 eastbound on Saturday 9th May at around 9am. The truck was weaving from the N/S lane into the middle as I was overtaking. I sounded my horn to let him know I was there and noticed he was using a mobile phone in his right hand at his right ear. I pulled back in to the N/S lane after overtaking him and observed him in my rearview mirror, still using the mobile phone in his right hand while making obscene hand gestures with his left. I wonder what he was using to steer! This was at the interchange with the M80, where the road opens out to 5 lanes, meaning he was in the middle of the 5. Hardly the standard expected from a professional driver.

I was driving(at 50mph)with my parents & partner in the car, on the inside lane (hard shoulder)of the A1(M),in a section of roadworks with a 50 mph restriction. We had just passed junction 33, when a lorry owned by Britannia Logistics came alongside in the next lane and started to pull over into the inside lane forcing me off the carriageway onto the grass verge. We were very shaken, but unhurt and the lorry just continued on not even acknowledging that he had forced us off the road, although he must have seen my car as he approached from behind in the next lane.

The weather was really bad, heavy rain and it was quite dark still. I was on the M6 northbound coming up to the Spagetti Junction slip road. The traffic in the slow lane was going very slow and I therefore stayed in the middle lane following the flow of traffic which was doing about 40mph. The lorry behind me was driving very close to me but I couldnt go any faster as there were cars in front of me and I didnt want to go into the outside lane. After a while he surprisingly pulled into the outside lane (which they are not supposed to do) to overtake me he sounded his horn at me as he went past, which was very loud and intimidating. He then pulled back in front of me. After the junction, he moved into the slow lane and I proceeded to speed up to overtake him to get away from him. He waited until I got close and was starting to go past him and he pulled out in front of me. He had no reason for his as there was nothing in front of him in the slow lane. I was very shaken up by this and very upset, there was no need for him to bully me like that, especially with the weather being so bad and visability so poor and I wasnt doing anything wrong!!

He continued to intimidate me so I moved into lane 2 to avoid the potential danger. He followed me into lane 2 and continued to intimidate me. I returned to lane 1 and noticed he was attemtping to follow. I then went onto the hard shoulder braking quickly forcing the lorry to overtake me. I then stayed well behind the lorry and further observed him crossing solid white lines between lanes in the roadworks section on two occasions.

Lorry moved from middle lane to inside lane. We happened to be in the inside lane where the lorry was moving to forcing us onto the hard shoulder to avoid being crushed by the full length of the lorry.
If my partner hadnt reacted and swerved onto the hard shoulder, we would be dead.

I was driving up the A453 after left Junction 24 of M1, travelling towards Nottingham. A British Gypsum lorry(identified as small light articulated lorry with dark blue trailer & white cab with broken right dipped headlight) came up behind me, driving too close to the back of my car.This is called tailgating.the manner of driving looks menacing to me,I was a bit frightened so I speeded up to between 55 to 60mph,the lorry is still tailgating me.(I shouldn't be driving at those speed because of black ice about on that morning & the speed limit for lorries on the A453 is 40mph)
At the turn-off point at Thrumpton Junction(this is where all BG lorries turned off to go to their depot at East Leake)I was dazzled by the headlights turned on full beam before he turned off.I'm finding it hard to believe the reckless behaviour of that proffessional lorry driver & it should not be tolerated on a dangerous roads such as A453...Have I upset him? well not really I only overtook him at J24 roundabout when he was stationary at traffic lights, Nothing is wrong with that!!!!

Driving north on the M5 near cardiff turnoff M50. We were doing 60 in the inside lane when a lorry displaying a SUPERFREIGHT EXPRESS LOGISTICS logocame right up our back end honking his horn. There are another two lanes on the M5 so I dont know why he didnt just overtake us. He followed us at a distance of no more than 4 feet for about a mile honking his horn, intimidating us and scaring the life out of me. Eventually he overtook us with a last honk of his horn.

Parked up JUST on the kerb of a very busy road out of town, causing a 1 mile tailback during rush hour from the Ryhall road roundabout to the "Welcome to Stamford" entrance sign. Took 20 minutes to travel 1 mile and exit the town towards Peterborough.
