Mini , White driven by Female

Seen at 06:45am on 11-Aug-2010 on M6(N) Preston Lancashire

The female driver of this Mini drove it at speeds aell in excess of 90mph so if it comes up for sale and it says one careful lady driver you will know that it is complete b******s because she ragged this car senseless. Time of the month my dear?

Driving at 90mph is hardly ragging the car senseless. How do you know what revs it was at?

90mph on motorway is pretty normal.

My Seat Leon TDi FR hits 4,000 revs max and has 6 gears… I didn’t know that 90mph was destroying the engine. 90mph sits at 2,500 revs if that. If I do 70 which is 1800 revs its not ragging the engine unlike 2,500. Wow I never knew 700 revs more would kill the engine. Now I know. Lol.

Was it a Cooper S? I’d be worried the timing chain would snap.

We need to teach these drivers a lesson by launching a nationwide hog the middle and outer lanes campaign to show them how dangerous these speeds are.

Speeding is dangerous because at 120mph my ‘BACK OFF – I’M STICKING TO THE LIMIT’ sticker starts to peel off.

Mini speedos are out by 7mph at 140mph so she was probably not going as fast as she thought. Also how anyone can compare a diesel Seat to a petrol supercharged mini. Man up and grow some, this is not Le Mans, this is road car fun and diesel just doesn’t cut it.
