BMW M3, Black driven by Male
Seen at 09:00am on 13-Apr-2011 on All Of Them All Of Them London
Undertaking - due to retards sitting in the wrong lane, reducing the width of an already congested motorway. Which motorway? All of them. M25 particularly bad.
Hint1 - if you are being undertaken, look in your passenger mirror, then over your shoulder.....then get out of the way.
Hint2 - if you are in lane 2, 3 or 4 and you do not have a big enough speed differential to the car in the next lane to your left.......see Hint1 and get out of the way
Hint3 - Speed limits - do them......that means do 40mph in a 40mph area - that doesn't mean do 30, 20 or 15. If you do - I will overtake you because you are going too slowly and are in the way.
Hint4 - Tailgating - if someone is too close behind you, see Hint2, then Hint 1 and then get out of the way
Hint5 - Not everyone is dithering there way to a flower shop/hairdressers/to see Auntie Meg. - some of us actually focus on what we are doing when driving and want to get on with it. See Hints 1,2 3 and 4 and focus on actually driving, when you're driving.

Speed limits – do them…… NO DO NOT DO THEM. The speed limit is a MAXIMUM permissable limit under PERFECT road conditions. If technology were used to monitor the road conditions the limits would go up and down like a yo yo. That’s why we have variable limits on the M25. People who keep harping on about you should go right up to the maximum permissable speed limit are incompetent drivers and clearly don’t undestand why we have speed limits. Re-test them and get them off the road every 5 years I say !!!!!

If the sat nav says stay right/keep right you do that to ensure you get to where you are going.
Why are you condoning undertaking?

Highway Code rule 268 advises against undertaking on a motorway: “Do not overtake on the left or move to a lane on your left to overtake”. On other roads you can “only overtake on the left if the vehicle in front is signalling to turn right” (rule 163). On all roads, undertaking is permitted if the vehicles in the lane to the right are queueing and slow moving. Undertaking in an aggressive or reckless manner could be considered Careless Driving or more seriously Dangerous Driving, both of which are legally enforceable offences.

I don’t think i need to redo my driving test – do you mean my international racing licence? road licence? or helicopter licence?
Where did you fools learn to drive?
IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO UNDERTAKE – YOU SHOULD ALWAYS BE IN LANE 1 UNTIL YOU ARE OVERTAKING – THEN YOU MOVE BACK TO LANE 1.
I put to you gentlemen – that you are middle lane morons.
What has SAT NAV got to do with it? Are you saying that if there is a filter lane off the motorway, and you are in Lane 2 for example? A driver in lane 1, filtering shouldn’t be allowed to go past you?

A helicopter license is not an indication you are a better driver, nor is a racing license. Your entire post screams “angry road user” and I hope you learn to calm your temper.
Small penis too with regards to “oh look I have a helicopter license and a race car license”. I have a fishing license big whoop wanna fight about it?

@IQ<65
The variable speed limit was placed on the M25 to aid traffic flow in congestion. It is rarely used to slow traffic due to weather conditions.
Motorway speed limits were introduced based on the handling of a 1960′s saloon (Anglia I think) as were the highway code brakeing distances. If you can not achieve these in all bar the worst driving conditions, you should not be on (sitting midlessly in the middle no doubt) the road.

I hate to burst your bubble chaps, but as angry as he sounds, he speaks the truth. to quote “YOU SHOULD ALWAYS BE IN LANE 1 UNTIL YOU ARE OVERTAKING – THEN YOU MOVE BACK TO LANE 1″. Spot on, the number of people i see steadfastly refusing to move over from the middle or fast lane is ridiculous.

IQ200: You are an incompetent driver who, due to the sheer awful magnitude of your own incompetence, is ironically completely unable to assess this I suggest you stop talking.
No, you’re doing it again. Stop with the words. They’re wrong.

“Council estate intelligence?” You have to be trolling.
Welcome to the modern world, where intelligent people (nearly) everywhere recognise that social background does not dictate intelligence.
“More Doom Brains of low intelligence”, please enlighten me, what is a Doom Brain? The fact that you’ve capitalised signals that it is a proper noun. Google doesn’t appear to know it.
2/10 for insult factor. 0/10 for content. V. poor.

for the record – I wasn’t angry when posting this at all – was just attempting to offer some driver education to the less fortunate.
If I can stop one of the middle lane morons from being in the middle lane – my work here is done
If anyone wants any advice or driving lessons -happy to help

Highway Code: while I agree with your sentiments, I’d like to point out that it’s not a “fast” lane. Therein lies a problem regarding road use -I’m going fast, therefore I need to be in the “fast” lane, or I’m doing the average speed, so I’ll drive in the middle lane.
Let’s refer to it as inside, middle or outside lanes, or L1, L2 or L3.
If we all just stuck to the general idea of “keep left, pass right”, we’d reduce road rage significantly.
