I had to laugh at this one, she was funny. I was in lane 2 cruising in 6th gear travelling along the M27 (2-lane interchange). I came up behind this blonde woman occupying lane 2 for no reason at all. I didn't tailgate her or undertake so I stayed a distance. She saw me, clocked on and moved over to lane 1 which was correct. Here is the funny bit: She suddenly threw it in a lower gear to dual me out (Tried) in order to prevent me from overtaking. I played along with it for a joke and pretended I was struggling to get past when I have 3x more overtaking power at my disposal. After laughing, I put the car back into 5th gear, went back in lane 1 just slightly ahead of her. Then opened the car up to give her a nice wall of black and grey smoke to cough on to say "Bye bye love" Then after slowing down again she came tearing up my backside flashing the beams for more. So I gave her some more black smoke and left her reversing up the motorway. I got fingers, fists the lot. Aggressive little women in small cars eh?

@SLFR185 from this and all your other reports you come across as an absolute idiot,
both on the road and hiding behind your keyboard.
My VW Diesel is remapped higher than 200bhp but I do not feel the need to constantly crow about it on the internet and belittle the cars other drivers choose. You wonder why people are attacking you online when you behave like a child. Grow up.

Ian: If you read some of the comments my car is actually being belittled. As I said before those comments are always left from people who drive a Citroen Picanto or a Kia Picasso or what ever they call those things. In this case I was chased by this, well what can I describe it as? Something like some dark green insect thingy. Apparently it was called a Ford Micra or something like that but to be honest I wasn’t looking at what it was to care.

SLFR was tailgating and provoked a reaction.

RBTL: She was overtaking fresh air, in other words the left lane was empty and she was hogging the 2nd lane. I could have rudely undertaken but I didn’t, I held back and waited for her to realise it was free. When she did go over she got all uptight and decided to speed up. I didn’t sit 1 inch away from her bumper flashing, I was patient with her…

This whole incident was exactly like that little nash rambler song called beep beep beep except she was the one singing the song. “While riding in my Ford K-A, what to my surprise… A Leon TDI was following me about 1/3 bigger in size… The guy just wanted to pass me out as he kept on tooting his horn *Beep beep*… I’ll show him that a Ford K-A is not a car to scorn… Beep beep, beep beep, his horn went beep beep beep” I was thinking of that song aswell. The song can be seen on youtube is called beep beep beep (Little nash rambler) Its so funny and true because thats exactly what people do on motorways.

I can’t say if slfr was tailgating or not because I wasn’t there so I can’t comment on how bad he was. But even if somebody does tailgate you its never a good idea to impede somebody in the overtaking lane of a motorway or a dual carridgeway by accelerating deliberately. Just let them fly past and be done with they will get caught speeding later on. If you impede people then that makes you as bad, if not worse then they arw. Sure slfr might have a moment in his cheap go faster seat but don’t we all? If he wants to run himself a driving ban for a moment of madness then let him. Don’t feed the troll by lowering yourself to his level its obvious he had a more powerful car all you did was give the little tw@ a game to play. Shame on you Sassy.

Sassy to be fair if you were stuck out in the right hand lane to begin with for no apparent reason other then to hog it then slfr did the good thing and stayed behind you. He didn’t undertake and he waited behind and gave you a chance to move over and he didn’t make a fuss over it. What more do you want? he could have done what a lot of impatient german car drivers do on the motorway and undertake you. You were the one who made a fuss over it and acted silly in all this by speeding up. If you can’t hack people overtaking you then perhaps you should stay off the motorway and keep on the local roads. And if you can’t do that then you should think about giving up driving. Sorry but I know where he is coming from.

Sassy: Why were you in lane 2? Obviously SLFR1985 would be in the right, as he wasn’t doing anything to provoke a reaction.
