S100 EAT

Seat Leon, Unknown driven by Male

I’d like to report this guy for being a sanctimonious, hypocritical prick! I’ve read a few posts from this user now, clearly delusional. Constantly bemoans the low standards of others, yet comes across as an antagonist. Racing others to feel superior, not observing traffic ahead then complaining about having had to brake heavily and some genuinely bizarre issue with the Ford and Vauxhall brands. I can’t help but feel in most instances you report here, your behaviour has contributed to the negative situation which has resulted. Also, 150bhp is nothing to boast about, it’s pretty stock standard – try the Cupra, you’ll get a shock.

Try the focus ST, that’ll give you an even bigger shock.

You know ST’s also come without the stripes right? I saw one the other day in electric white with no stripes and it looked pretty good. My dads ST is in a very nice red with no stripes and that looks pretty good. I do reckon the ST makes a better sound with that engine than a Leon with a 1.8 engine in it. I also imagine it’ll handle better than an E350CGI Mercedes because its a small hatchback and not a big heavy saloon car. No offence to those who own these cars but i’d take the ST over a Leon Cupra anyday because of that sound and that fact that the Focus is a slightly bigger car.

Well all i can say is the ST is simply my personal favorite. Everyone has one, be it the Focus ST or, in your case, a diesel Seat Leon.

Interesting. I’ll try and see if can hire one and see what its like for myself. I’m probably only being nieve to try and stop S100 EAT launching into another one of his ford/vauxhall rants.

I drive an old Fiesta 1.25 Zetec which is more of an A to B car than a performance machine. Even though I love my Fords they don’t come without problems and most are reliable on the whole but quite a few can be problematic but if a Ford is troublesome its only usually electrics leaks and rust. My Fiesta has been fine and the ST wasn’t a lot of bother apart from boost leaks from silly plastic pipe work and a fuel pump fail. I like Fords because they have always been something I’ve always driven and I couldn’t imagine myself behind the wheel of anything else other cars just seem too boring for my liking. Yes they do have the stigma and the mickey taken out of them but they’ve done me well and I’m sure Rover owners get the same treatment. I’m not bothered with what S100 says about the drivers or the cars it really doesn’t bother me in the slightest. Fords and Vauxhalls are cheap to buy and cheap to keep and thats all I care about.

Some of you need to forget about these fairly mundane cars and get out in a real performance car. The ST is mundane and the Merc is rather naff. All badge and no substance.

Well, all i can say is Fords are my personal preference. Although that said there are a lot of good cars out there without the blue oval. However, theres also some good ones with it as well.
