Extremely aggressive dangerous driving and unprovoked road rage. I was riding my tiny 15mph electric scooter one day when this person came up out of nowhere behind me on St James Barton Roundabout. He had plenty of room to overtake but instead came right up behind me honking horn, swearing and screaming abuse. As he passed me with inches to spare he yelled about how "it was a motorbike not a bicycle" and how I should have a helmet. This misunderstanding often happens on my 15mph micro-electric bicycle/moped but it has never caused anyone to try to murder me until now.
When I inevitably caught up with him at the next set of traffic lights (on the Haymarket) I remonstrated with him then got in front of him and took his numberplate. He then started moving his van towards me threataning to run me down. I shouted at him some more but realised he really would run me over if I didn't get out of the way so I did, got off the road and he pulled up to get out and give me a kicking, so I rode off. He started to chase me then thought better of it as we were passing a police station so he drove of up Bridewell Street at high speed.
This man is a dangerous psychopath. He is an overweight white male aged roughly 30-45, was wearing a red top. Stereotypical "white van man". Bristol accent, possibility of extreme violence if you cross him. Don't be like me and lose your rag, get video evidence and numberplate and go to the cops, don't get angry like I did as they could probably claim I brought it on myself although the initial attack was totally unprovoked.

I was in a long line of traffic going at 20mph due to the dangerous ice and snow on this road. This 'man' approached a lot faster and was tailgating me for some time whilst I had my 3 children (including my newborn baby) in the car. I put my hazard lights on to show him that we were going slow because it was hazardous and he just flashed as if to want me to move out of the way. He then eventually overtook me at approx.40mph. Following this, he overtook and then cut up the car in front of me in the middle of an S-Bend and then overtook a large tanker in an extremely dangerous place. This arsehole should not have a driving licence, if he wants to wreck his own life then so be it, but he will not involve myself and my children in this.

I was driving along the M5 southbound. I'm not sure if it was junction 24 or 25.
I had plucked in to the middle lane to allow for cars coming off the slip road. A filthy dirty van (not sure if white or silver) came off of the slip road. Then without looking pulled in front of me only leaving about a 6 ft gap. I flashed him (who wouldn't). He then stuck his arm out the window giving me the finger. Next he moved into the slow lane, pulled alongside me, was screaming, swearing and swerving into me.
All of this while my 8 year old son was next to me in the front seat. It was truly terrifying.
He then over took me and proceeded to tailgate all the way up the motorway.

I overtook this car perfectly safely on the way out of Marksbury heading towards Bath in the 60 limit before the dual carriageway section. He immediately beeped and flashed me. He then followed me all the way to Keynsham driving at insanely closely behind me and made several half attempts to overtake recklessly. He was obviously completely consumed with anger that I had overtaken him.

I was, admittedly, driving quite slowly as I was trying to find a house and reading the road names. It was in a back street and traffic was minimal. Then this young woman in a black car came up behind be, beeped her horn several times and gesticulated wildly, shouting obscenities. I sped up and joined the main road, the woman waas so close to the back of my car I thought she woudl hit mine at any moment.
She then overtook me whilst shouting abuse out of the window, she then stopped her car in front of mine, got out and started yelling at me, calling me a f**k**g b***h. She came up to my drivers window and started banging her hand against it. I drove around her car and went through some traffic lights. She followed me through on red and did the same thing again, overtaking me erratically and getting out of the car to scream and shout. Another car coming in the opposite direction stopped and spoke to her and she shouted abuse at him to. When I tried to drive around her she kept getting in my way, steeping into the path of my car.
Eventually, after holding up the traffic for several minutes she got in her car and sped away.
What a nightmare!

Over a distance of 9 miles the vehicle drove at excessive dangerous speed, however due to the amount of traffic on the road at the end of 9 miles he had not got any further than myself driving the regulated road speed. The only thing he had possibly done is upset other road users.

Can anything be done about inconsiderate drivers driving along the road at 40mph when they can legally do 60mph? These drivers cause endless queing, and force other motorists to take unnnecessary risks trying to pass them. Not to mention the frustration & anxiety of getting stuck behind one of these drivers. I think drivers like this, should be given a ticket for causing an obtruction - what do you think?

Travelling at 30mph in 30mph zone, driver of van behind thinks this is too slow. So, tailgates me at 2 metres, even when I pick up speed to 40, after zone. I slow, trying to encourage him to back off, to no avial. I stop - he overtakes and then slows right down in return - even on a main road with a queue forming behind. Does this for a mile or so, and then thinks he has done enough, so speeds off above the limit. So clever.

25/8/11 Circa 07:25 - Other driver coming from Frome Road Radstock and drove in front at me at roundabout. I flashed other driver and he came to find me.
I adviced him how to properly used roundabout, he said I was two miles away and called me a twat.
Mr Idiot driver, you are a twonk, who not only does not know how to drive, you have no concept of distance you stated two miles, I could have touched your vehicle and had I not been a careful driver, my vehicle would have collided with yours and I would have RIGHTFULLY held you responsible, because I had priority, I was coming from your right.
If you would like to contiue discussion, I would be happy to meet you at any Police Station, after I have asked Radstock's CCTV controller to review tape and provide me with the evidence, which will clearly show you were in the wrong.
Also, blowing vehicle horn before 07:30 is an offence and dangerous driving moving off, think you need to go and complete your driving instruction, so you will be shown how to drive a lot better than you currently do. So you will need a lot of practice, because you are currently a particularly rubbish driver.

My daughter has recently passed her test and I was with her on her drive to college this morning. We were in a stream of traffic and a woman driver behind was tailgating us within inches. We turned off the main road to get away from her and she followed us sounding her horn angrily. We stopped, I got out to see what the problem was and she was screaming as the top of her voice that we'd been going too slow for her! What a lovely lady, so understanding. I guess she was never a new driver herself. I suggest she leave earlier to get to work in future, remember that the world doesn't revolve around her, and remember the laws of KARMA!

On the road out from Bath this moron tail gated me through the built up 30 zone then over took me on a blind corner, then the car in front of me again on a blind corner and then tail gated a dustbin lorry for a mile.
This guy was actually up the lorries' bumper and there's no way they could have seen he was there.
This guy was clearly a class moron and headed off towards Stanton Wick. This gimp clearly needs 're-educating' ;)

Pulled on to the A370 Marchfields Way from the retail park in Weston , some idiot flies up behind me and ends up a couple of feet off my bumper and right up my arse. I touched my brakes and slowed down to point out the guy was to close especially considering my wife and kid are in the car with me. The guy went mad, undertakes me coming along side and starts screaming at me and then forces his way across in to my lane trying to force me off the road, i had to slow down to stop the guy driving in to the side of us and making us both crash. This guy's a nutter, and clearly shouldn't be on the road. His car already had signs of accident damage, driver side wing into the door was already mangled, feel sorry for the individual that might have been involved in that.

I was negotiating seed bumps in cardiff(lisvane) when a land rover discovery driver decided to bully me into going faster by sitting inches from my back bumper. I have a sport saloon with very low profile tyres so I rightfully took it easy over them. Becoming more aware of the aggressive nature of this moustache and bull bar laden dick head my partner (rightfully protecting my 18 month old child in the back seat) gestured him kindly to "back off", at which point he became increasingly agitated gesturing back "get out of the effin way". By now my safety gene (being a lorry driver) kicked in and I slowed down for fear of a nasty accident. At this point he lost it, went to overtake in his three ton of slag, to find the road was narrowing and that only the screech of 4x4 rubber was going to prevent impact on my car. By now I was starting to lose my acres of patience and wanted his head an a stick purely form being a bullying dick in his 3 ton rover brick. At the earliest opportonity he sped off over the opposing speed bumps with a total disregard for other road users, only to get stuck behind another car in front of me!! Then he had to stop because of a funeral procession, at which point it took every good bone in my body, not to get out of the car and pummel his face into his headrest!! He then took off like snail, bullying other ordinary road users as he tried to get away from us knowing that, if he had any bollocks, he would have got out of his slag mobile and questioned my rightfully slow driving, but no...his arrogant prick attitude allowed him to carry on his way, probably to kill a dozen small children at a zebra crossing because theyre in his way!!!

Approaching a 3-exit mini roundabout, I am indicating right and turning right, guy to my left pulls out in front of me - so close he would never have had time to even get out onto the roundable, let alone in front of me....I slam on my brakes, use my horn, his car stops literally inches from my left wing and his response? Laughing at me. Why do people think they can just carry straight on through on mini roundabouts? Clue: If I am indicating right, there is every chance I am also turning right, not taking the exit before you just for your convinience.......!!!!!!!

This guy is crazy...he was driving in a 50 zone at 30mph. When I eventually overtook him he went crazy, and was making extremely rude gestures to me out of his window and shouting like some mad man. He then chased me for a while, before slowing down again!

Car approaching my rear so fast it scared me.Speed limit is 40mph and I was doing 35 to 40. I slowed a bit to give the driver a chance to pass but he was having none of it. I was tail-gated for about a mile, after which I became so scared I slowed and stopped.On passing me it was clear that the car was so loaded that visibility must have been impaired. The driver was a middle aged male.He must have taken the next bend at around 60mph.
I hope his insurance company sees this because if he usually drives in such an aggressive fashion,he needs a slap where it hurts.

Driving in moderately busy side road, with limited space, due to parked vehicles, white van man comes up fast behind and crowds me. I slow for humped pedestrian crossing and he nearly rams me. I slow at hidden (by parked cars) junction and he lets go with his horn. This was at 7.10pm.
I slow for T junction and he horns again - and again. I put hazzards on, get out and ask him if he is aware of safe stopping distance. His retort is that he knows a lot more about the Highway code than I ever would and then explains that I should move out of his way - at least I think that is what he was swearing about. I decide that there is no decent conversation to be had here and get back into my car. Waiting for traffic to clear on the main road seemed not to be necessary, according to him and his horn.

Number plate marked with anti-speed camera paint. Works at the PBTI Site off the Chilcompton to Wells road. Have seen the driver doing the same thing on a number of different occasions.

I was turing into a car park from a roundabout and I was cut up by the above vehicle, I adjusted my speed to compensate for this. In the carpark the car, now infront of me, attempts to pull into a space going forwards, but can't get into the space in one manoeuvre. I realise that the vehicle will reverse so I beep to let the driver know I am there (correct use of horn), and then reverse to let the other driver reverse and park. I proceeded to park my car with no problem, however on exiting my car I was approached (by the passenger of the car) and asked 'Got a problem mate!?', I said no, but he was angry I had beeped my horn, I told him that it was simply to let him know I was there and I told him I has reversed to let him park. He told me that if I beep my horn again he will punch me!
I would love it if we could get people like that off of the roads, they (the few) ruin it for everybody!

There is a Subaru Impreza that speeds down our road - every evening at between 9pm and 10pm - you can here it comng from miles away - due to it's exhaust - doing at least 60mph in a 30 limit - why don't the police do something to put the cybush on this driver - like remove his car and crush it - in front of him - I doubt whether he is insured too (he is too young too get insurance on such a fast car)

a Black BMW 5 series, constantly screams around my area, with a growling exhaust and menacing blacked out windows, doing at least 60 mph in a 30 limit. It's about time that this was stopped

3 clearly marked on signs and roads roundablouts she entered the roundabouts in the right hand lane but proceeded to go straight across she seriously needs to be reaquainted with the highway code and or get some glasses so that she can see road markings and cars in the right lane

on roundabouts in yeovil somerset lady driving black BMW misread 2 of them and any instructions she should have been clearly able to read on road sign and road itself causing me to brake sharply not just the once but twice. I was running late for a meeting so did not have chance to follow up.

BMW still tearing around my area - reported (anonymously) to police - but this was a week ago - nothing done - one of these evenings - this git is going to kill someone (totally oblivious to speed limits - upto 80 mph in a 20 limit (school)) - this car is badged as a 1.8 - but the exhausts say differently - probably a 2.3 !!
Insurance - probably void too

This car was behind us. Driving very close and hooting. at one point it tried to overtake when another vehicle was coming the opposite way, so he then had to break hard to get back in behind us. he continued to hoot at us and driving close. Then when he did overtake when reasonably safe to do so , he slowed right down and gestured to us to pull over. We just carried on driving behind him slowly until he then sped up. we felt very threatened by his actions, It was obvious he was ready to make an issue of us abiding the speed restrictions.. we had our little boy in the back and I cant imagine what the driver and his passenger would have done if we had stopped our car. There were witnesses because there were a number of cars behind this driver.

This driver must be removed from the road - before he does it himself - he tears around the streets - totally oblivious to any other traffic - he is going to kill someone one of these days - reported to police - but they appear ignorant to the danger !!

Driven by a middle aged woman without her glasses I will assume as she had no idea where she was heading the car left hand lane in 2 lane entrance and 2 lane exit then proceded to cut me up by indication half way round to join me in my lane just as well I was awake otherwise I would have been sat on the roundablout
