After being forced to brake going onto the A14 at spittles roundabout, the driver of the HGV blared his horn at me, even though i was not at fault. He then got as close as is physically possibl to the rear end of my car, flashing his lights. When a gap emergered, he overtook me, waving his fist, to which i mearly shrugged my shoulder to suggest it wasnt my fault. What happened next astounded me! he swerved across into my lane, forcing me to swerve onto the edge of the road (not much hard shoulder on that stretch of road). I really did think a nasty accident was in store. He then carried on at the same pace as me laughing in his side mirror. The haulage company name on the side was NEIJBOUR, however a google search has proven fruitless. I am considering reporting this matter to the police, as i feel using a vehicle of that size, when you are supposedly a "professional Driver" as a potential weapon should result in some sort of action.

This is 3rd March 2012, not 2011. A14/M11 junction, heading North along A14. Not the easiest junction to describe, but basically a 2 lane sliproad onto a dual-carriageway. The Silver van was tailgating me as we drove along the r/h lane of the sliproad. I was holding a sensible distance behind another car, with plenty of traffic in the l/h lane. In Lane 1 of the dual carriageway was a truck, so I slowed slightly, and in plenty of time, so I could join behind the truck. Just before I joined, the Astra van moved right, onto the hatched area between the sliproad and the dual carriageway, and drew alongside me. This left me no option but to move left, straying a little into the l/h lane of the sliproad, but fortunately into a gap. Our Hero then moved to Lane 2, generously giving me my lane back and allowing me to continue. I have no idea why he chose to do this, because that whole stretch is covered by average speed cameras, so he couldn't make any progress because of the seemingly permanent 67mph queue for the next few miles. you'll notice that this wasn't a dreaded White Van. It was a Silver Van. It was a Silver Van belonging to Briar Security Systems Ltd. You can find them here: http://www.briarsecurity.co.uk . The promise 'Guaranteed FAST response to emergencies', so maybe I was just in his way. Anyway, feel free to email them and point out this report.

Must have been doing at least 100mph early morning darkness and raining. Lorry pulled out in front and this driver had to brake hard, he then flashed his lights at the lorry driver who probably did not realise the speed this driver was travelling at. Once the BMW had overtaken the lorry he cut across the front and applied his brakes very harshly. The lorry driver had to do the same and how he did not hit the BMW I shall never know. The truck snaked and could have gone out of control. then the BMW driver slowed on the hard should (I guess waiting for the lorry driver to do the same) then sped off into the distance.

This guy was on the outside of me on a multi lane roundabout. He cut across lanes nearly taking my front end off and I had to take avoiding action. I gave him a little beep of the horn to let him know I was there. After the roundabout I went to pass as it was still a duel carriageway and he purposely swerved to hit me and I once again had to avoid him. After this I sat well back until I turned off. This total muppet needs putting down Clarkson style. (Shot in front of family) (Was in 2012 but it wont let me select that one)

Whilst merging from the A1 to the Peterborough parkway,where 2 lanes go down to 1 before joining the parkway.
Our friendly Audi driver overtook on the outside where there is no lane in the ice.
Complete Tosser, when I flashed him he hit the brakes, very grown up especially in this bad weather we're having. Deserves a puch in the gob!

Driving very close behind us, then overtook us without being able to see ahead. Pulled in a tiny space between us and the car infront and slammed brakes on infront of us as a car was approaching. Then did exactly the same to the car infront...and then the car infront of that one. Very dangerous, and driving very recklessly.

I had just joined the A14 going west at Oundle. About a minute after joining I saw the above car speeding up behind me (in slow lane!) at about 100-110mph. The driver left it to the last second to swerve to miss me - blaring his horn in the process. After swerving to overtake me, he then nearly crashed into two cars in the outside lane. Thereafter, for the next 20 miles he slowed down, but was wandering across and within lanes. He must have crossed the outside lane marking white lines dozens on times. On three separate occasions he caused other cars to swerve off the main carriageway. He was either drunk, or spending a long time on his phone. Alternatively it could have been drug induced. This guy needs locking up - it was a miracle no-one was killed.

Some bloke in a Rangerover tried to ram me off the road about half an hour ago. He started by trying to undertake me on the roundabout and then honked for me to get out of his way. So I gave him the finger after which he totally tried to ram me off the road. Twice. if I had had a passenger I'd have got them to film it but I was alone!

I had cruise control set to drive me at 70mph on the dot and was overtaking a car that was doing ~65mph in the inside lane. As I cleared the car I checked my mirrors and indicated to move in to the left only to find that the offender (can you tell I'm trying to keep it polite here?) had sped into the inside lane and was trying to undertake. Despite my signal he sped up inside, giving me a split-second to swerve away and not have him crash into my left-rear door. As he undertook he stuck his finger up and swore (I responded in kind, flashing my lights at him and sounding my horn) before he proceeded to speed up to ~90mph behind the next car ahead and tailgate him 2-3m behind.
This guy is going to kill somebody soon. I can only hope that it's just himself.

Driver has gone straight on fron right-hand turn only lane on A47 at Eye village. At next roundabout attempted to do the same but traffic queue prevented this so he veered back to the correct lane. Proceeded down A47 towards Thorney, weaving all over the place and tailgating. At Thorney took up position in right hand lane at roundabout to proceed in the overtaking lane where the road duals. Accelerated like a snail thus blocking the overtaking lane for everyone else and causing me to remain behind in nearside lane to avoid undertaking him. Did exactly the same after the next roundabout. Realised he couldn't go any faster so eventually pulled into left hand lane so I could overtake along with a number of other vehicles. Needless to say he has exceeded the speed limit for a van on the single carriageway by doing 60 instead of 50. In rear view mirror I could see him weaving all over the carriageway again. Eventually he builds up sufficient speed to overtake on the dual carriageway (now doing 80+) and comes past me again. Then on single carriageway between Thorney and Guyhirn is tailgating. Left indicator when used isn't flashing at correct speed and nearside headlight not working correctly. Rear bumper half missing and remainder damaged. Vehicle in very poor condition. Avoid at all costs!! Probably uninsured to boot.

Travelling home on a Tuesday night and I come up behind 3 lorries with one just starting to over take the others on the duel carriage way. I slow from 70 to around 55-60 and back a little. A cars lights get right up behind me and then seem to swerve about a little. I backed off a little bit more. The car following alternates between swerving across both lanes (presumably to see if he can undertake me) and sitting right on the back end of my car once he even flashes me. (Bear in mind that he can go no further than the lorry in front a whole 4/5 car lengths!) this continues for 4/5 miles (the over taking lorry was only just managing it and then the second lorry starts to over take. All the time the idiot in the Jag is swerving and trying to intimidate me (unsuccessfully but it kept him happy I suppose) Eventually the lorries clear and I accelerate to 70. The Jag is literally hanging off my exhaust at this point. As soon as we get near the end of the lorries, the headlights of the car start flashing (perhaps there was something wrong???) I get sensibly clear of the lorry tap my breaks to take the cruse control off and low and behold the Jag follows me into the inside lane. Again I suspect he thought he was going to undertake me. He then swings out and the horn starts to beep as he goes past me (barely controlling the car as he swings again over the road) I believe he may have been gesturing something as well but I'm actually watching the road ahead ( I like to do that when I'm driving) after this he takes of at least 100 mph I smile and take his number plate and keep repeating it to myself. Its been some time since I've seen such an amazing demonstration of why some people should be banned from driving for life.

A small red car in front of me tries to filter out of Fenstanton onto A14 Cambridge bound. A14 has near stationary queue of traffic on A14. Gap between blue Lorry and the lorry in front of him was a little tight - but red car has indicated he wanted to filter in and started his move. This was doable if blue lorry held back - but no way was he going to let this happen. The blue lorry squeezes up making it difficult. The red car has already made his move and is under threat from blue lorry but red car squeezes in. Blue lorry pulls out into fast lane (he could simply have stopped and let him in!) - then blue lorry retaliates by aggressively trying to force his way back into the same spot - using aggresive movements to threaten red car that he will 'push' driver of red car off side of road. This continues a queue moves forward slowly. In the end red car jumped in front of blue lorry in fast lane to get away. Come on people - we were sat in usual A14 queue going no where - lets be civil to each other -we all need to get to work - lets do it in one piece - theres enough accidents on the A14 everyday as it is without this kind of stupidity!

Driver was driving very close behind us as we observed the 30 mph speed limit on a country road he then overtook us and as i had my main beem on decided to dip it when he passed. Once in front he stopped his car suddenly in front of us and got out waving his arms around shouting " what were you flashing me for" we explained that it was not a flash but just the main beem being dipped he was very aggressive looking either drunk or on drugs. I said to him that he needs to be carefull who he confronts like this as you read in the papers about road rage and people get killed he then challenged me saying " what you saying you want to take this further" coming at me with his arms spread open. This was a middle aged man scruffy greyish long hair wearing a jacket and tie

Accident on Fletton Parkway in Peterborough. Traffic came to standstill. Several impatient drivers decided to turn round and go down the wrong way of a slip road (traffic was coming up it) to avoid waiting. Is it not bad enough that some drivers had already been seriously injured in an accident, without looking for ways to cause another one!!!

this car started to tailgate us , we had a 2yrs old in the car , he did this for a while then started to weave back and forth then made as if to side swipe my car before pulling in on the front of my car , and kept braking.My son could do nothing as when he slowed to let this idiot go away from us , the driver kept breaking .We had to wait for the roundabout where the road turns into dual carriageway to get away from him.We went off as soon as he was on the dual carriageway . WE did absolutely nothing to provoke such dangerous driving.

As the road changes from 40 to National speed limit the said vehicle overtook a slow moving digger. I did also. As the driver pulled back into the left hand lane. I took this opportunity to overtake him. As I got almost half way past he pulled out to block my way seemingly to try and push me off the road. as I went wider so did he. I had to pull back in the end as I feared for my life!

I was indicating to move from a slip road into a joining slip road on the right. The offender crossed the hatched lines and attempted to overtake around me just as I moved into the right lane and he had to brake sharply when he realised he couldn't. He sounded his horn in annoyance, and after we joined the A14 pulled in front of me and braked to demonstrate his annoyance further. I suppose I would be annoyed if I was that stupid! (I checked later that my indicator was working correctly.)

He cut several cars on lime klin road, down a hill and drove on the oncoming traffic lane and cut across to turn onto another road, just because he was impatient. I was going to pull out when he cut in front of me. Luckily i was alert, if not I could not have imagined what this might have caused, especailly when i had two young children in the car with me.

This car was reversing at speed up the slip road at the milton entry to the A14 eastbound. I had to slam on brakes to avoid him. He then stopped and paused before deciding to continue forward onto the A14. I turned off at the next exit but this car remained on the A14 veering occassionally across the 2 lanes.

Lorry moved from middle lane to inside lane. We happened to be in the inside lane where the lorry was moving to forcing us onto the hard shoulder to avoid being crushed by the full length of the lorry.
If my partner hadnt reacted and swerved onto the hard shoulder, we would be dead.

I was driving on A1198 towards Royston, coming to Longstowe. The road is winding & there was jeep towing a snack van so knew couldn't get past before village. A 4x4, of course, shot past me to overtake us both (just coming into a village and by a crossroads)& had to pull in quickly behind van as a car was coming in other direction, but then I saw a 2nd car was also coming and as it swerved to not hit car it cut me up and forced me to brake and swerve. Luckily no one was killed - although I wish the driver of that car had been. Phoned police but they told me that unless I had independent witness then couldn't pursue. So glad I found this website.

watch out for this woman very dangerous inconsiderate driver should not be allowed on the road. Overtook our car on the wrong side pulled out twice without signalling - almost caused us to crash twice within a few hundred yards. Total lack of respect for other road users
